Heat water: Bring fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil (212°F or 100°C).
Measure tea: Use 1 teaspoon (approx. 2–3g) of BOPF tea leaves per 8oz (250ml) of water.
Steep time: Steep for 2–3 minutes for optimal strength and color.
Strain and serve: Use a fine mesh strainer or a tea bag/infuser, as the fannings are small. Enjoy black or with milk and sugar to taste.
