Heat water: Heat fresh, filtered water to 75–80°C (167–176°F). Avoid boiling water to preserve the delicate flavors.

Measure tea: Use 1 to 1½ teaspoons (approx. 2–3g) of buds per 8oz (250ml) of water. The buds are light; a little goes a long way.

Steep time: Steep for 3–5 minutes for a perfectly balanced flavor.
